Wine producing regions

An understanding of the type of the grape products based on the region in which its production excels provides a deep insight on the differentiation of the wines based on the taste. This article presents a few tips on the wine specialized regions:

 

Australia: Australia is known for the exquisite red wines it has because of its dry, hot climate in some of the grape growing regions. There is loads of information available on the internet incase you are intending to know the wine specialties in your country.

 

California: California is the largest producer of wine in the U.S wine growing regions. The most famous grape producing region of Sonoma produces a wide variety of high quality regions and how can we forget the most prestigious wine growing estates in the east of San Francisco called as Napa valley. The most obvious choice that you need to select when you are shopping for a Californian wine is the Zinfandel.

 

Chile: The wines that are produced in any of the regions of Chile are from the original wine stock, the vineyards here were not attacked by Phylloxera that attacked many of the European regions during the 1860s.

 

China: China has been a major wine producer since the Shang Dynasty, these wines are gaining international appeal and recently it also won an award for the best wine.
