Activity 1: Ask everyone to arrange themselves in the decreasing order of the size of the shoes without having to communicate orally the size of their shoes. The benefit yielded by this activity is that there would be communication which is understood without having communicated anything to each other, this facilitates greater understanding between the team members and it also facilitates the group member to develop a better level of concentration for the team leader.
Activity 2: The second activity which you can do is to have all the team members share the name of the person whom they admire the most in the office and also the reason. This will enable an understanding of the values of the team members and the kind of personality they possess. When the person who is admired comes to know builds respect and there would be good relations between them, thus in turn this would act as an effective team building activity.
Activity 3: This is one of the best activities as far as my preference is concerned. Ask everyone to sit in a very close circle. Then hold a ball in one hand and while holding the ball say something that is embarrassing and then as the laugh stops hold one end of the twine and the throw the other end towards someone else and then he will have to share the embarrassing moment. After every one finishes there would be a web which would be connecting each other and thus there would prevail a feeling that we all are one, though we have different individuals but we do share some similar experiences and emotions. Plus in addition there would be a feeling that there would be more similarities than differences.
